Our weekly meeting location
is in the CVS/BEALS parking lot located on the corner of
Collier blvd and Bald Eagle drive.
Our meetings are every
Thursday. We meet at 8:00PM, some of us have been getting there a
little earlier to take advantage of the extra Spring daylight.
"Save the Wave"
Our island is the home to many Corvettes, Muscle cars,
Exotics and Hot Rod's.
It's amazing at just how many Corvettes are down here. We all wave at
each other but rarely meet.
After talking to some Car enthusiasts on the island
who expressed the same feelings we thought that we should put
together an informal meeting spot for anyone who is interested.
Let me stress the word informal; no dues or silly rules
. This is an excellent opportunity to show off your favorite toy,
shoot the bull with fellow car nut's,and make some
new friends.
The only requirement being a mutual interest in Corvettes and Muscle cars.
Just show up with your Corvette or Muscle car
in the CVS parking lot on the corner of Bald Eagle
Drive and Collier Blvd. every Thursdays between 8:00PM and 9:00PM
.
Those of us that do show up are gear heads that have a good time
talking about Corvettes, Muscle Cars and the good life we enjoy in
Florida.

On a recent Saturday a group of us cruised up to the Lely Palms car show in Naples.
The weather was perfect. What's better than looking at cars, eating and drinking
(for free)and siting in the shade shooting the bull with your friends.
They even had a doo wop band playing for the crowd. It was a great way to
spend a Saturday afternoon.
Every Saturday evening there is a casual car show that takes place
in the Circuit City parking lot on Pine Ridge rd. in Naples.
You can always find a few of us there enjoying ourselves.
Our wives have even more fun spending money in the adjacent shopping mall.
This years Show sponsored by the Marco Island Kiwanis Club was great. Perfect weather and good friends made
this years show a home run.

break and let her watch those reality tv shows in peace.

It looks like the rainy season has come early this year.
We did get a break from the rain this past Thursday, the weather was perfect.
The Marco Eagle gave our
club a nice plug
Keep up the participation and word of mouth advertising.
Please tell everyone you know who has a Corvette or a Muscle car about the club.
Both myself and Vinnie G. went to the Nov. 2008 SEMA show in Vegas. The show proved
to be the mother of all car shows.

to provide a fun meeting place place for Marco Corvette and Muscle Car owners.
To show off your pride and joy
To have a great excuse get out of the house one night a week and
take your Vette or hot rod out for a ride.
To make some new friends with common interests
